About the Role

As a Pharmacy Support Worker, the post holder will be working in both the inpatient and outpatient dispensaries and have

responsibilities for providing a friendly and efficient service to patients and Trust colleagues. The successful

candidate will be required to work flexibly to support our busy Pharmacy Team.

The role is patient facing at times involving welcoming patients, providing information, receiving prescriptions, and

signposting patients to other parts of the hospital.

The position also involves creating prescription requests via phone or computer systems, the dispatching of medication
