About the Role

JOB DESCRIPTION

The phlebotomist’s primary responsibility is the collection, labeling and preparation of blood, urine and other patient

specimens for laboratory testing. Responsible for the maintenance of all applicable logs, the filing of reports and

assembling of the appropriate lab report. The phlebotomist also ensures that all reference lab samples are collected and

processed appropriately and assists lab or nursing employees in patient care within limits and under clinic nurse

supervision. The duties include:
