About the Role

Key Responsibilities: Checking patient identification against GP/Nurse requests and confirming patient agreement to the

procedure requested. Procedures to include: Phlebotomy Blood pressure monitoring ECGs Urinalysis INR monitoring Basic

dressings Height and weight monitoring Vaccinations including influenza, pneumococcal and shingles Ensuring all

specimens are in appropriate containers, accurately labelled and bagged ready for collection by the courier Undertaking

NHS Health Checks / health monitoring in accordance with established Practice protocols Assisting in the assessment and

surveillance of patient's health and well-being Chaperoning duties Safely disposing of sharps and other clinical waste
