Phlebotomist | Northumbria Primary Care
About the Role
To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of phlebotomy and administrative duties. To provide general support to
meet the needs of patients, following policy and procedures. Duties can include but are not limited to, acting as a
central point of contact for patients as well as distributing information / messages and enquires for the clinical team,
liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service
providers, processing both electronic and paper copy patient records, dealing with appointment system, and patients’
blood pressure, pulse rate, height and weight.
