About the Role
JOB DESCRIPTION
Belfast, Royal Victoria Hospital. The Phlebotomy Assistant is a member of the team who carries out assigned tasks which
involve direct patient care and administrative tasks related to patient care. All tasks are conducted under the
supervision of a registered nurse or member of medical staff and in accordance with the Trust guidelines. The
Practitioner Assistant works within the competencies of the Practitioner Assistant role as defined in the HaN Competency
Framework.
