About the Role
A rewarding opportunity has emerged for a dedicated Physical Health Nurse at a leading mental health hospital in Marchwood, Southampton. You will play a crucial role in addressing patients' physical healthcare needs while working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
Responsibilities
- Support nursing and MDTs in identifying patient healthcare needs.
- Plan and evaluate care in line with best practices.
- Advise colleagues on physical healthcare and infection control.
- Lead site initiatives for infection prevention and control.
- Ensure compliance with NMC guidelines and professional practices.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with an active NMC Pin.
- Qualified Mentor or willingness to achieve within 12 months.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Strong communication and innovative practice skills.
- Positive attitude towards change and quality improvement.

Compensation
The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £23,004 per annum for a part-time role of 20 hours per week.
Location & Schedule
This position is based in Marchwood, Southampton, working part-time at 20 hours per week.
