Physical Health Support Worker

About the Role

Take routine bloods, ECG, Complete Clozapine Assay, physical health monitoring i.e. BP, pulse, weight height. However,

the post holder is not expected to interpret results of bloods tests, ECGs Offer health promotion, dietary advice,

healthy eating, smoking cessation advice, substance misuse referring to appropriate agencies in agreement with the

service user. Ensure appointments are re-booked within NICE guidelines and in a timely manner according to clinical

need. Communicate outcome of physical health screening to GPs & PCNs highlighting any physical health concerns Maintain

effective management of clinical areas including, co-ordinate ordering to ensure adequate stocks, safely dispose of
