Placement Co-ordinator
About the Role
The Professional Practice Office (PPO) sits within Student and Academic Services. We are responsible for the allocation
of placements for students wishing to pursue a career in the Allied Health Professions, Nursing and Midwifery, Social
Work and Teaching. This varied role is for 37 hours per week and crucial to student experience, which is key to the
University’s 2030 strategy. We work with a large spectrum of placement providers and other stakeholders. We are a team
of 14 people who work in a supportive manner. We take pride in our work and enjoy the challenges of working in a fast
moving, high pressure environment.
