Plaster Technician
About the Role
Demonstrates clinical skills and competence in performing a range of full casts using plaster of Paris and synthetic
materials, including Scaphoid, Bennetts, above elbow, below elbow, below knee, long leg, cylinder, shoulder spica, and
slipper casts. Proficiency with various types of slabs such as volar, U, below elbow, below knee, above knee, and ulna.
Experienced in fitting appliances such as wrist braces, knee braces, and specialist walker boots To be responsible for
the delivery of patient centered care. Maintaining specialist knowledge and clinical skills in areas such as orthopaedic
outpatient clinics, rheumatology clinics, diabetic foot services, and casting techniques and products. Assist the
