About the Role

Working under the direct supervision of the Lead Practitioner Nurse and strictly in accordance with specific practice

guidelines and protocols, the Health Care Assistant will assist the practice clinical team in the provision and delivery

of prescribed programmes of patient care. This role involves a variety of important responsibilities, some key duties

are as follows; New patient health checks Minor Op/ Coil booking and administration ECG recording Spirometry Home Visits

Blood pressure checks Dressing changes Dementia screening Health checks Carers checks Administer vaccines as appropriate

and where fully trained in line with practice protocol Clinical administration at the request of the GPs or team leaders
