Practice Nurse - Special Interest in Sexual Health

About the Role

Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesSexual Health Services Deliver sexual health consultations in line with national and local

guidelines. Provide contraception services, including oral contraceptives, injections, emergency contraception, and

fitting/removal of LARC (implants and IUD/IUS). Undertake STI testing, screening, and treatment, including chlamydia,

gonorrhoea, syphilis, HIV, and other infections. Provide pregnancy testing, advice, and onward referral as required.

Undertake partner notification in line with best practice guidelines. Promote sexual health awareness and safe sex

practices. Liaise with specialist sexual health and GUM services for complex cases. General Practice Nursing Provide
