About the Role
Clinical Working in accordance with IHGs values, the NMC or HCPC codes of professional conduct, and IHG policies and
procedures, the Theatre Practitioner will provide high quality nursing care and treatment to patients within the
operating theatre department and clinics. Responsibilities include: Undertake nursing assessment of the patient to
ensure optimal fitness for surgery, some under supervision if required. Ensuring patients are fully informed of the
planned treatment, including post-operative care and instructions. Work autonomously within their scope of practice,
following the NICE, national and local organisational guidelines. Manage a caseload and prioritise to facilitate an
