About the Role
Main duties of the job Processing Repeat Prescriptions Review and action requests from patients, pharmacies, and care
homes Check for due reviews, medication synchronisation, and potential overuse Flag anomalies or concerns to clinicians
Liaising with Clinical Staff Work closely with GPs, pharmacists, and nurses to clarify medication queries Escalate
requests requiring clinical input or prescribing decisions Medication Safety and Accuracy Ensure prescriptions align
with current medication lists and formulary guidance Monitor for high-risk medications, interactions, or
contraindications Support audits and medication reviews where needed Patient Communication Respond to
