About the Role

Clinical Responsibilities Manage: Minor illnesses and injuries Acute presentations Long-term condition exacerbations

Deliver safe, effective care within scope of practice and recognise limitations Apply infection prevention and control

measures at all times Undertake clinical procedures including: Venepuncture and specimen collection Wound care and

dressings Cervical screening (if trained) Ear care and other routine treatments Provide family planning and

contraceptive advice (if trained) Deliver immunisations in line with national schedules and PGDs/PSDs Provide travel

health advice and vaccinations Promote health and wellbeing through brief interventions Respond to medical emergencies
