About the Role
Main Duties and Responsibilities Reconstructive Science To provide technical support for the following specialised
services. (Non-exhaustive list provided to indicate range required). Accept referrals from other specialities within the
Trust. Treat patients requiring facial and body prosthetics. Attend weekly prosthodontic clinics, assisting in
impression taking/intra-oral scanning and fitting complex obturators and dentures. Attend theatres to assist surgeons in
impression taking and fitting of complex surgical appliances. Plan, design, and manufacture 3D cutting guides and
reconstruction plates for major head and neck cancer and trauma cases. Design and manufacture 3D models using MIMICS
