Prison RMN (Band 6)
About the Role
To provide high-quality, evidence-based mental health nursing care to patients within a prison environment. The post
holder will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for a defined caseload,
working autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team (MDT). The role requires a resilient, non-judgmental, and
proactive professional capable of delivering compassionate care in a complex and secure setting. 2. Main Duties and
Responsibilities Clinical Practice: Conduct comprehensive, person-centred mental health assessments, including risk
assessments. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans in collaboration with patients and the MDT.
