About the Role
Key Responsibilities Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments Facilitate outreach and community engagement to
assess, commence and monitor opiate substitute therapy (OST) Provide advice, information, and guidance on the management
of substance use to service users engaged with services. Deliver subcutaneous injection of buprenorphine (Buvidal).
Follow Controlled Drug Policies and Procedures. Agree treatment plans with service users, and review them regularly
Undertake drug screening (urine, fingerprint and oral). Ensure case notes and other statutory records are up to date and
kept in accordance with Kaleidoscope policies and procedures / regional information sharing protocols Deliver clinical
