About the Role

Wayman Education is looking for a dedicated Sociology Teacher to inspire students at an outstanding school in Milton Keynes. This full-time position involves teaching KS4/5 within a supportive department, offering a chance for both experienced and newly qualified teachers to advance their careers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Sociology lessons to KS4/5 students.
• Develop and implement a varied curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress effectively.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Sociology department.
• Support students in achieving their academic goals.

Requirements

• Degree in Sociology or related field.
• PGCE or QTS certification required.
• Experience teaching Sociology to KS3/4 students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation

The salary for this Sociology Teacher position will be paid to scale, ranging from M1 to UPS3.
