Radiology Assistant, Ultrasound
About the Role
To assist patients in preparation for, and whilst undergoing, routine and specialised radiographic examinations.
Establish and maintain a good communication channel with patients to support patient confidence. To observe and care for
patients whilst waiting for examinations and communicate any concerns to trained staff as appropriate. To check patient
identification and documentation in accordance with departmental protocols and clinical requests. Assist Radiologists,
sonographers, registrars and Nurses in performing these examinations, attending to patients welfare at all times.
Support service delivery to co-ordinate workflow and support facilities within specialised areas. Maintain a clean, safe
