Radiology Porter

About the Role

1. To work effectively in a team with other porters and radiology staff to ensure the safe movement of patients and

their notes to and from the Radiology department 2. Coordination and communication with the Radiographers, RDAs and

Radiology Nurses to ensure the safe arrival and return of in-patients to the imaging department. This will include being

able to relay important information to and from the Radiology department to nursing 3. To assist in the moving and

transfer of patients as required in the Radiology examination rooms (to include pat-sliding and log rolling following

appropriate training) 4. To carry out miscellaneous errands between departments and wards, including a messenger service
