About the Role

Radiology Support Workers play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care by undertaking a broad range

of clinical and non-clinical duties, in support of and under the direct supervision of a registered healthcare

professional within radiology.

They are responsible for planning and organising their own workload in collaboration with colleagues as part of a

multidisciplinary team. This includes providing chaperone support and assistance to clinicians and practitioners during

radiology examinations, as well as delivering safe peri-procedural care and supporting effective delivery of Radiology
