About the Role

To act as a specialist recovery practitioner, supporting patients post operatively covering services such as elective

surgery, emergency and maternity.

Is accountable for the provision, organisation and delivery of patient care within the sphere of responsibility and

assessed competencies. The post holder will provide and assist with the development of safe patient care post

operatively, working across the Bedfordshire NHS Foundation Trust Theatres/Maternity and community trust in the laser

unit, OMF, MRI, and assist in acute pain management. He/she also provides effective mentorship and supervision,
