About the Role
A Vacancy at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust.
Same Day Emergency Care which sees patients who are expected to go home the same day. This is a high paced area seeing
60+ patients a day, requiring assessment and treatment to enable them to go back home. We work closely with the Acute
Physicians. Our nurse led DVT service has just been relaunched as well as the Virtual Ward service which provides daily
medical support for patients who are able to go home for monitoring.
AMU A is our acute assessment area where we admit, assess and treat patients with an expected admission of up to
