Registered Nurse Associate - Bladder and Bowel Service
About the Role
Develop competence in and undertake the clinical skills required for the post, including Continence assessment and
conservative management, bladder scanning, intermittent catheterisation,fitting urinary and bowel aids and appliances.
To be responsible for the review of assessment of the patients continence needs and implementation of appropriate
treatment plan or product provision, within clinics, care homes and patients own environment. Be able to communicate
effectively with patients/relatives with communication difficulties e. deafness, blindness, learning difficulties. To
establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and carers, incorporating motivation, encouragement and
