About the Role
Ensure practice is in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and work within limits of competence. To have
successfully completed the Trusts preceptorship programme or to be working towards it. Maintain a high standard of
nursing care applying evidence-based practice. Carry out assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of nursing care
without supervision; to include the undertaking of pre-operative assessment of patients prior to their orthopaedic
surgery. Maintain accurate records of all care given. To provide health promotion and education for the patient, their
