About the Role
1.Communicate appropriately with patients, their carers and relatives and other visitors to the unit. 2.Communicate
appropriately with all staff, liaise with other departments and agencies and attend internal meetings as appropriate.
3.Ensure the hospices policies relating to the security, control and administration of drugs are adhered to in line with
NMC guidance. 4.At the request of a senior nurse and under their guidance co-ordinate in-patient activity and
communications for the duration of a shift as appropriate. 5.Participate in the supervision and appraisal from an
identified senior nurse. 6.Under the direction of a senior nurse participate in the induction of new staff, both paid
