About the Role

The East Coast Day Surgery Team cover elective day surgery on Haldane and Lloyd wards, and are closely affiliated with

the preoperative assessment team, often supporting in all areas to ensure our elective surgical patients have a smooth

transition through their elective surgical journey.

The East Coast Day Surgery team are moving forward to also assist with benign non-surgical urological treatments on both

the Scarborough and Bridlington sites. This is an exciting move which will broaden the skill set of the day unit,

provide east coast capacity for patients and also bring the team in line with our York Day surgery colleagues.
