probationary periodAbout Briarwood Our assessment unit supports older adults with a diagnosis of dementia or dementia
like symptoms, who are experiencing behaviours that challenge. Our team of experienced Staff Nurses and Support Workers
assess individuals with differing diagnoses of dementia such as early onset Alzheimer’s disease, Korsakoff’s dementia
and vascular dementia.The assessment process is usually 12 weeks, with the team working closely with the individual,
their families and carers, and other professionals involved in their care. The unit is fast paced but highly rewarding,
