About the Role

DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB To prepare operating room by checking all necessary equipment and machines required are available

and functional. Ensure sterility of the instruments and check their conditions prior to use. To attend and engage in WHO

team briefing. To scrub and assist surgeons when required. Ensure all equipment is accounted for and correct after the

operation. To accurately document and chart procedures undertaken during surgery. Details are entered accurately on

Trak/H-Trak and Medisoft system. Conduct final assessment after the procedure and provide a brief post-operative

instruction to the patient. To clean theatres at the end of the day. Ensure cleaning checklist is followed and completed
