About the Role
We have 3 positions available for a fixed-term period of 6 months (with a possibility of extension) in the Upper GI
Surgery (Oesophago-Gastric) Unit to start in April 2026 . This post is particularly suitable for applicants who are
post-CCT (Certification of Completion of Training) or are post-training surgeons working at or approaching consultant
level. Applications are welcome from both national and international candidates.
The successful candidate would be able to gain significant experience in the breath of major upper GI surgical oncology
with a focus on oesophageal and gastric cancer surgical resection. Operative exposure includes radical open,
