Renal Specialist Nurse
About the Role
See Specialist Nurse Job Description. Co-ordinating care and facilitating care and reviews for patients with CKD 5,
preparing and educating them for renal replacement therapy (RRT), and also for patients being managed conservatively.
You will be involved with anaemia management for patients with CKD 4 -5 for which cannulation skills are desirable to be
able to administer IV iron. Otherwise you will be expected to undertake cannulation skills training and competencies.
You will need to be a competent/confident and organised individual, as you will be required to work autonomously and
will manage your own caseload of patients. You will be required to work autonomously, as you will be involved in clinics
