Acorn Homes is seeking a dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our team in Herne Bay. In this role, you will support vulnerable children and young adults by encouraging their development through life skills, leisure activities, and educational opportunities. Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of care and support.
• Facilitate physical and emotional development.
• Encourage participation in leisure and educational activities.
• Manage challenging behavior effectively.
• Maintain accurate administrative records.

Requirements

• Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to achieve).
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights.
• Over 21 years of age.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience in a children's home is desirable.

Compensation

Residential Support Workers earn £30,160 per annum (£12.50 per hour), including £40 per sleep shift. Compensation is competitive and reflects your experience.

Location & Schedule

This position is based in Herne Bay with various contracted hour shifts available.
