residential support worker

About the Role

To provide support and care to children and young people who live in a residential care home.

You would need to have empathy and be able to nurture a child who has emotional and behavioural difficulties due to

adverse traumas in their young lives.

A shift will entail school runs, support with some personal care, encouraging activities, completion of daily paperwork,

cleaning the home helping children with chores, cooking etc.

If employed as team leader knowledge of legislation, care plans, health plans and placement plans is essential
