Respiratory Practice Nurse

About the Role

Main Duties and Responsibilities To work autonomously to deliver specialist clinical care to practice patients with a

range of acute and non-acute Asthmatic and COPD conditions. To assess, diagnose and treat Respiratory patients,

developing individualised care, management and treatment plans using clinical reasoning. Ability to undertake

Spirometry. Implement care plans, including requesting necessary tests, onward referral to other health care

professionals and agencies, and follow up consultations where necessary. Promote health and screening in relation to

primary prevention strategies. Provide advice and emotional support to patients and family or carers for patients living
