Risk and Incident Lead Midwife

About the Role

Please see attached JD The post holder will support the review of incidents, MNSI data and other maternity incidents in

conjunction with the wider maternity team. This post supports the quality and governance agenda within Maternity and is

key to ensuring that nursing, midwifery and medical practice is safe, evidence based and current, advising on changes

nationally to practice and supporting the implementation of such guidance into practice. The post holder will be

responsible for the oversight and monitoring of incidents and presentation of key performance indicators including the

monitoring and review of action plans and recommendations from After Action Reviews and PSII.
