About the Role

• St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in South London, is a teaching hospital and tertiary referral

centre with our maternity unit providing care to over 5000 women/ birthing people yearly.

• Our midwifery led Birth Centre – Carmen Birth Centre, named after one of our passionate community midwives – delivers

approx. 600 babies a year.

• Our dedicated teams and specialist midwives for AN screening, Infant Feeding, NIPE, Bereavement, Governance, FGM,

Maternal Medicine, Diabetes, FMU/DAU, Safeguarding and Perinatal Mental Health have a wealth of experience and are able
