SACT Specialist Nurse

About the Role

The SACT Specialist Nurse will: Lead in a specific area(s) of SACT administration and/or practice, making

recommendations, coordinating the project(s) and developing practice guidelines based upon robust evidence, gained from

risk assessment, pharmaceutical industry, audit and literature review. Accept patient referrals to agreed criteria and

be identified as the key worker for an agreed regimen(s) and patient/client caseload. Provide advice, education and

support to patients, their carers/families and other health care professionals. Practice clinically in agreed care

settings according to the departments approved protocols or guidance. Contribute to the efficient running of the SACT
