About the Role

Sanctuary Group is seeking a Safeguarding and Domestic Abuse Manager to lead safeguarding activities across housing services in England. This role ensures compliance with safeguarding legislation and integrates domestic abuse responses into practice, making a significant impact on community safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of safeguarding strategy across Housing functions.
  • Provide expert advice on safeguarding and domestic abuse matters.
  • Embed domestic abuse awareness into safeguarding frameworks.
  • Monitor compliance with safeguarding legislation and policies.
  • Develop partnerships with external agencies for safety promotion.
  • Lead safeguarding data analysis and reporting.

Requirements

  • Degree or relevant professional qualification in mental health, nursing, or social work.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safeguarding principles and legislation.
  • Experience in problem analysis and solution implementation.
  • Familiarity with inspection regimes and performance management.
  • Full valid driving licence required for occasional travel.

Compensation

The salary for this role ranges from £49,641 to £52,254 per year, subject to performance reviews.

Location & Schedule

Base office location may vary; the role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
