Safeguarding Children Nurse Advisor
About the Role
To support the Named Nurse for Safeguarding Children in the delivery of their statutory responsibilities for policy and
practice regarding the legislative framework for safeguarding children. (Working together to Safeguard Children 2023 and
Safeguarding children, young people and adults at risk in the NHS Safeguarding Accountability and Assurance Framework
2024). The post holder will support the Named Nurse for Safeguarding Children in Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust
by ensuring core responsibilities and key objectives are effectively discharged. The post holder will be proactive in
the promotion and development of partnership working between all agencies involved in the care and protection of
