About the Role
The Safeguarding Nurse will demonstrate a sound understanding of the needs and risks affecting vulnerable adults,
children, and families. Acting as a visible role model, the post holder will provide clinical support, expert advice,
and practical guidance to wards and departments across the Trust, under the supervision of the Named Nurse for
Safeguarding, and in accordance with national and local safeguarding guidance.
This is a developmental role for a nurse with some safeguarding experience. The post holder will be supported by senior
members of the safeguarding team to develop comprehensive knowledge and skills across all aspects of safeguarding
