About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Research Doctor to join the Surgical Oncology Research Group at The Royal
Marsden Hospital and The Institute of Cancer Research. This 2–3 year post offers a unique opportunity to undertake a PhD
within the HOLO-AIM project—Holographic surgical guidance using Artificial Intelligence and Mixed reality for safer and
more efficient Surgery—funded by NIHR i4i.
The fellow will work at the interface of advanced oncological surgery, translational research, and surgical technology
innovation. Supervised by Mr Myles Smith (RMH/ICR) and collaborating with expert teams at Imperial College’s Hamlyn
