About the Role
We are currently looking to appoint a suitably experienced and skilled Band 5 SCBU Staff Nurse to join our friendly
team. As a SCBU Nurse, you will need to have relevant experience at Band 5 level in neonatal/paediatric nursing. You
must be confident, compassionate and clinically credible. You will also act as a mentor who is competent in the
supervision of student midwives and nurses and the junior nursing team. You will have excellent interpersonal and
management skills and be committed to the delivery of excellent neonatal care. You will support the Ward Manager in
promoting a positive patient experience, units initiatives and Achieving Excellence. Royal Surrey SCBU is the first
