About the Role
Key Responsibilities: To manage a caseload of designated schools or area as the named health professional, with
responsibility for the planning and delivery of the public health initiatives to the caseload. To be responsible for
identifying need within a school or community through profiling. To use a child, young person public health approach to
address health inequalities. Including the promotion of good health and the prevention of ill health in the school,
supporting schools to manage children and young people with medical conditions To support the implementation of service
development, standard setting, clinical audit and benchmarking, to deliver needs-led evidence-based care that supports
