About the Role

Join NHS Ayrshire & Arran as a School Nurse, where you'll play a vital role in improving the health and wellbeing of children and young people. Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to deliver essential health services, ensuring optimal outcomes for the community.

Responsibilities

• Deliver health services per the National School Nursing Pathway.
• Support child protection and emotional wellbeing initiatives.
• Work with families to address homelessness and domestic violence.
• Manage caseloads effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Engage in health education and promotion activities.

Requirements

• Registered nurse with SCPHN qualification or commitment to complete.
• Experience working with children and families is desirable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle required.

Location & Schedule

Based at Coylton Health Centre, Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00.
