About the Role
Smile Education are recruiting for an SEN Teaching assistant to work in a Secondary SEN school in central Birmingham.
The school is rated ‘good’ in their latest Ofsted inspection and has a strong and welcoming atmosphere within the staff
team. The SEN teaching assistant role would be working full time within the classroom supporting the class teacher with
a small group of students, working Monday to Friday 8:30 to 3:30. The Responsibilities of the SEN Teaching Assistant:
Have a sole focus on working in small groups Develop and concentrate on building a relationship with the child, staff
and family members. Constant and consistent communication with the class teacher, regarding progress and potential
