About the Role
Axcis Education is currently recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist college in Exeter.
This long-term role is ideal for someone with previous experience supporting individuals with special educational needs,
particularly those with complex needs.
The college caters for young people aged 11 to 15 with a range of needs including Autism, learning difficulties,
pre-verbal or non-verbal communication, and behaviours that may challenge. These behaviours are understood and supported
as a form of communication. The focus is on developing independence, communication skills, and preparing learners for
