Security Officer
About the Role
Main Duties and Responsibilities1. The Security Patrol Officer will proceed immediately to attend calls forassistance
involving: Those in fear of violence Scenes of actual or suspected crime where personal injury is involved;and Crime in
progress2. All other calls for assistance will be dealt with in order of priority. Ifsuch enquiries cannot be addressed
within one hour, the SecurityPatrol Officer will give an explanation for the delay to a caller.3. To respond to calls
from ward staff to deal with Patients, Visitors whoare being violent, abusive or disruptive, assess the situation and
takethe appropriate action to resolve the situation taking all relevant factorsinto consideration.4. To occasionally
