About the Role

ABC Teachers is seeking SEN Youth Mentors for a specialist school in Birmingham. This full-time role involves supporting children with additional needs, including ASD and challenging behaviors. You will work in both group and one-on-one settings, adapting to each pupil's needs to ensure a productive school experience. A nurturing and empathetic attitude is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Support children with additional needs in various settings.
• Adapt to individual learning requirements and triggers.
• Foster positive relationships with students.

Requirements

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Valid references from previous roles required.
• Enhanced DBS check, registered to the Update Service.
• Minimum two years supporting students with SEN.
