SEND EYFS Teaching Assistant
About the Role
Calm, consistent and ready to make a real difference? We’re looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a high-needs
mixed Nursery and Reception classroom at a Primary School in Lemington, Newcastle. This isn’t a sit-back-and-observe
kind of role. It’s hands-on, heart-led, and all about building trust with little ones who need that bit of extra support
to feel safe, settled, and ready to learn. The class supports children with high SEMH needs and behaviour that can be
challenging at times. So we’re after someone steady, patient, and confident, someone who understands that behind every
big behaviour is a little person asking for help. EYFS experience is a bonus, but it’s not essential. What matters most
