Senior Cardiac Staff Nurse

About the Role

The post holder will be responsible for the care of patients undergoing cardiac catheter laboratory procedures, from

Pre-assessment clinic, admission through to recovery and discharge. This includes preparing patients, assisting during

procedures, monitoring physiological parameters, recognising complications and ensuring safe post-procedure care. The

role requires competence in working within a high-acuity environment, supporting operators during procedures,

maintaining aseptic technique, completing safety checklists and ensuring accurate documentation. Once trained, the post

holder will undertake scrub duties, support haemostasis management and contribute to emergency cardiac care including
